Community

At Anaconda we are pro-active in the community. Our team members and customers are involved in many local schools, community groups and clubs, and support initiatives, fundraising, activity days and efforts to inspire, equip and enable the community to enjoy the outdoors. Employees are also given the opportunity to participate in volunteering and fundraising activities, which customers can support through special in-store initiatives.

As a 100% Australian owned and operated business we are invested in developing stronger healthier communities and recognising the importance of these grass-roots groups and the impact of our partnerships and support.

We also believe that we have an obligation to communities outside of where we operate our stores. We support national and international charities, raising important funds and awareness for many worthy causes. We are committed to supporting many organisations and programs, which have included the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Kivuli Orphanage and School in Kenya, Leave No Trace programs, the Australian RED Cross and the Cancer Council of Australia.

We take responsibility for how our operations may affect people and the environment; it is also an essential prerequisite for our continued profitability and growth.

With over twenty stores throughout Australia our stores and their team members are often at the heart of many local communities. Our Partnerships and Community program and Charity partnership program aims to support and assist community initiatives in the locations where we operate.

As a growing business we have a responsibility to societies around the world and the communities where we operate. This means integrating social and environmental concerns into all our business operations to reduce negative impacts and maximise positive ones.
