Anaconda is proud to support the Murdoch Childrens Institute, Australia’s largest child health research organisation. Its research priorities include allergies, diabetes, premature birth, obesity and cancer. This life saving research has the capacity to improve the health and wellbeing of children everywhere.
For the eighth consecutive year, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch AC DBE opened her gardens at Cruden Farm for a family Discovery Day on Sunday, 18 March 2012, which raised over $130,000 for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Over two and a half thousand people joined in this year's event which featured ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS and an exciting line up of entertainment including MC Kate Langbroek. Kids' activities included rides, face painting, arts and crafts tents, Anaconda Adventure Climbing pinnacle, SOCCERWISE®, mini golf, pony rides, jumping castles and much, much more. Anaconda was proud to be a part of such a positive event.

Anaconda recognises that climate change is an important issue and have introduced a carbon-offset scheme to help negate the carbon footprint of shipping our products to you.In essence when you select the Carbon Offset option in the Shopping cart you are helping negate the carbon dioxide that goes into the atmosphere from the process of shipping your order. By selecting this box, the amount of carbon is automatically calculated using the Gaia CO2 counter and the offset fee is added to your shipping cost. It is usually well under $1. This fee is used to invest in projects that remove or prevent greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere such as for example the Tasmanian Native Forest Protection Project. Read more…
