Turbo Lite Twin 300 Tent
Remember the old days of camping? Wooden pegs and mallets, rock hard ground and yards of tangled muddy tent ropes? No? Believe it or not, tents haven't always been pitched and taken down in less than two minutes like the Turbo tents from Black Wolf. The Turbo series of rapid-pitch tents that provide simple, carefree 4WD camping for modern-day adventurers has become the benchmark of elite life under canvas. The hostel model of the series, the Turbo Lite Twin 300 Tent, has room for up to 11 occupants, making it ideal for a group workshop or fishing trip away. The basic framework is of light but strong metal struts that push up centrally to brace the walls and roof, or are pulled down to allow the sides struts and canvas to be gathered to the centre like the corners of a handkerchief. Awning poles fold away into a bag with the rolled up tent, fly sheet and metal pegs while the guy ropes coil into pockets at points on the tent flaps. Up and down, the whole operation is incredibly quick, neat and almost automatic.
