The Zephyr II Hike tent is so lightweight and supersmall at 3.4 kg that it makes it ideal for hiking, cycling, and kayaking trips. It comfortably sleeps two — that is, it's long enough inside for those of you who are over 170 cm (6ft) while the more vertically challenged will appreciate its 100 cm height. It has all the basics for a two-season tent: one window; one door, tape sealed floor; canopy fabric and fly with high waterhead; no-see-um mosquito mesh segments on inner fly and window; adequate ventilation; breathable inner; mini-vestibule and self-repairing zippers. For assembly you have two strong but light Durallium poles; Powermesh quick pole sleeves; alloy pegs and reflective guide lines. It all comes in a light weight roll 'n' fold bag. I have spent about 30 nights in this tent. Including very heavy rain and remained dry. A little water does puddle on the top of the tent towards the lower end. It would be nice if a "foot print" ground sheet was an option. LIke all tents if this type of design it has a low roof height making getting dresses a litle tricky. Comes with good tent pegs. The weight is acceptable for the price. I picked mine up on sale for a lot less than the list price. I gave it 4 stars if I had paid full price I would have only given it 3 stars. If you want a good budget tent then I would consider this model.

I have had this tent for about 3 years & used it on at least 40 occasions. Reasonable size for 2 people, great for one. Storage space in vestibule is a bit limited for two people's luggage. Has survived prolonged rain, however has developed some small punctures from cat head burrs. Recommend a good groundsheet under floor to alleviate this problem
